20+ Years of Making Things Work
Meet the Founder
Tiona Campbell, Founder & CEO – APET Co. LLC
I grew up in Detroit, Michigan — a city known for building things that last. My journey into engineering started early. At just 10 years old, I began taking technical electronics classes through Detroit Public Schools at Breithaupt Career and Technical Center. While other kids were discovering hobbies, I was learning circuitry, wiring, and the foundations of how systems work.
That early exposure turned into a 20+ year career in electrical design and industrial automation.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked inside complex manufacturing and distribution environments, designing and integrating hardware control systems, robotic cells, PLC-driven automation, and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure for major industrial operators including Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, and FedEx.
My work has involved modernizing aging infrastructure, building automation systems from concept to installation, and ensuring that electrical systems perform safely and reliably under real-world operational demands. In industrial environments, there is no room for guesswork — systems must work every time.
APET was built from that same engineering discipline.
This is not a concept product created from a trend. It is a patent-pending smart pet enclosure designed with the mindset of industrial reliability, system integration, and long-term scalability. The same principles used to power factories and logistics facilities are now being applied to elevate modern pet care.
As a founder, I bring more than an idea — I bring two decades of technical execution experience, cross-functional engineering collaboration, safety compliance knowledge, and hardware system integration expertise.
Detroit taught me how to build.
Engineering taught me how to solve.
APET is where I apply both — to create a smarter standard for pet living.
